Tarot
If you’re here it’s likely you’re familiar with tarot, you have your own ideas about what it is as a practice, but what you want to know is who I am as a reader.
Stylistically, I would call myself a relational tarot reader. I read within the context of conversations, within my understanding of how each card exists on a spectrum and how they connect to other systems like astrology and numerology.
In my readings, I specialize in the liminal, discomfort, and transitions. I’m a former deep tissue and trigger point massage therapist. I’m a Scorpio moon person with Mars on my ascendant degree. The Tower is my numerological life path card. These are things with which I am intimately familiar. When needed I’m prone to asking expanding questions intended to gently guide you toward new thresholds. That said, (and in that same vein) I am a big fan of levity, humor and play. I welcome curiosity in all forms.
What I’m NOT
a fortune teller
Predictive tarot just isn’t my thing. I’m here to help you build and learn about your inner world as it exists currently. Understanding and acting in your present situation is what ultimately influences your future.
kabbalist
Éliphas Lévi (born Alphonse Louis Constant) really popularized the entanglement of Kabbalah/Qabalah and tarot. As a person not of the Jewish diaspora, and out of respect for the closed nature of the Judaism, this is not a cornerstone of my practice. Tarot, an as archetypal system, relates to all things. There are many paths and structures to inform this practice.
“for” everyone
I’m not for everyone, and chances are neither are you. Truly though, who is? What matters is if I am for you. It’s important to have a good rapport with your service providers in vulnerable spaces. I believed this as an MT and I believe this as a reader.
What I AM
a rosetta stone
Tarot is a system of images and archetypes, and thus a medium for stories. Over time I have formed a language for interpreting it. Think of me as a “reader” very literally in this sense.
a mirror
I reflect things back to you. We can examine things together or you can take things and absorb them in your own time.
someone to hold space for you.
I’m not here to judge or yuck anyone’s yum. My hope is to build an open container that allows for honest conversations. I may be doing a lot of speaking and interpreting but I am also plenty happy to pause and listen while you navigate your experience.

*please know that I do strive for accessibility, so if you’re in a bind financially but would like to partake in a service—don’t hesitate to reach out. I’d be happy to work things out with you.
